Celebrated New Zealand winemaker Dan Barker is owner and winemaker at Moana Park Winery in New Zealand. His efforts in New Zealand have earned Moana Park much worldwide acclaim, including a coveted Gold medal from Decanter World Wine awards in London. Seeking further international experience, he has been with Baillie-Grohman since its first vintage, where he works several months a year.

In the scenic Creston Valley location, Dan concentrates on carrying his global award-winning success to Baillie-Grohman. With a small-lot focus that respects the land, he creates premium wines that reflect the surrounding terroir. Dan understands that the Creston area is an emerging winegrowing region for North America, and is proud to be part of the adventure that will put Baillie-Grohman on the map.
