An entirely single vineyard wine, grown for us exclusively by our growers in Osoyoos, BC. The fruit was left to hang for a considerable length of time to ensure the correct level of ripeness was achieved.
Hand harvested fruit was destemmed, crushed and cold soaked before inoculation. Hand plunged thrice daily and fermented at high temperatures. The wine was pressed to barrel where malolactic fermentation took place, a combination of new (30%) and seasoned French oak barriques were used for maturation.
This beautiful wine is dark carmine with purple hints. A full-bodied aromatic style with toasty vanilla oak and dark fruits. Cedar notes complement the chalky tannins that gives this wine a long finish.
