Single vineyard Estate Grown at an elevation of 650 m. Grown on the dry alluvial soils of our home block in Creston, BC. This Pinot Gris was hand selected from the ripest fruit.
The fruit was destemmed before being lightly pressed whole berry, then cold settled pre-ferment to optimize fruit flavours. The juice was separated into two parcels where one was tank fermented to retain the pure aromatics of the wine and one was barrel fermented to create complexity.
The 2019 Pinot Gris offers aromatics dominated by ripe melon, crisp citrus, and white peach. The barrel ferment adds a rich textural palate with a long finish. This wine is well balanced and off dry.
