The Adventure Continues with our first ever orange wine, which draws upon thousands of years of minimal intervention winemaking traditions from Eastern Europe.
The fruit was destemmed and placed in an open top French oak barrique where indigenous yeasts started the wild fermentation within days. The fruit was plunged three times daily and left to ferment for three weeks before being pressed off. L’Orange is unfined and unfiltered, a minimal amount of sulphur was added prior to bottling.
